Bachelor's Preparatory Programme (BPP) - Non-Formal Channel to B.A./B.COM/BSW/BTS

Bachelor's Preparatory Programme is offered by the University to those students who wish to do Bachelor's Degree of IGNOU but do not have the essential qualifications of having passed 10+2. In the absence of such a qualifying certificate these students are deprived of higher education. To enable such students to higher education stream, IGNOU has designed this preparatory programme.

The Bachelor's Preparatory Programme (BPP) is on offer in Oriya too in addition to English and Hindi.

Structure of the Programme:-

The Bachelor's Preparatory Programme has following three courses. Student has to select any two of these courses.

Preparatory Courses in General Mathematics
Preparatory Courses in Social Sciences
Preparatory Courses in Commerce

Eligibility conditions for admission

10^th standard/SSC/equivalent or BPP from IGNOU.

Medium of instruction

English only.

Duration

Min.: 6 months, Max.: 2 years
