A Few Success Stories of the Students of APACC
Community College aims at the empowerment and capacity building of the marginalized group. The women who join the diploma courses under APACC are handicapped in one way or another academically, emotionally or financially. The life coping skills we impart as an essential part of our courses have made them come out with self confidence and self determination. It is the Life Coping Skills that make Community College stand out in the world of job oriented and skill based education contrasting it with other systems of Vocational Education in the country. The salary the students receive at the entry point may not be high. The very fact that they have made an entry in to the job market will take them forward. They will never look back.
In the words of Emily Dickinson 'If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain. If I can ease one life, the aching or cool one pain or help one fainting robin unto its nest again. I shall not live in vain.'
