APPAREL CENTRE | |
Our Apparel Centre has a textile lab that is well equipped to meet the ever-changing demands of the fashion world and the market here and abroad. The facility is used for running various textile related courses. It contains 10 Industrial stitching machines [including Juki], 2 Embroidery machines,1-3 over locking machine, fabric cutter brand cloth cutting machine [round knife], ironing box, pattern making tables, ironing tables, shelves, dress hanging stands, Dressing room with mirror. | |
The centre is enriched by the presence and service of two professionally qualified fashion designers. | |
COMPUTER LAB | |
Our Computer lab is equipped with latest Intel microprocessor based computers. |
- The computer lab is one of the automated frameworks of APACC. This facility caters.
- Undertakes various projects from outside.
- The lab functions from 8.15am-6.30 pm on working days and 9.00am -5.00pm on holidays.

AUDIO VISUAL ROOM | |
Our Audio-visual room is equipped with TV, VCD and Music system providing both learning and entertainment for the students and the Faculty. We have a rich collection of VCDs and audio cassettes for language learning supplied by the BBC,institue…We further have CDs and Audio Cassettes containing songs and movies in different languages. | |
LIBRARY | |
Students are given access to the Assumption College Library. In addition to that the Community College has a reference library which stocks books on specialized subjects like Computer, Tourism, Journalism, Language skills etc… | |
TYPE WRITING CENTRE | |
Though word processor applications on personal computers have largely overtaken the tasks previously done with typewriters, a secretary with skill in type writing is much in demand in the corporate world. Hence we are running a typewriting centre with ten typewriters. The facility is utilized by the students of Assumption College and APACC and also by those in the community. | |
XEROX | |
We have a Sharp Digital laser Copier cum Printer -Sharp model: AR-M 160 with A3 color Scanning, A3 copier. Xerox facility is provided at a subsidized rate from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. | |
DTP | |
Trained hands at the centre provide DTP facility that is utilized by the students and the community. | |
PURIFIED DRINKING WATER | |
To avoid of health hazards we provide purified drinking water by installing a water cooler. A cafeteria is in our plans. |
